If you check the newspaper and watch for signs along the road, you can eat at a local event just about any night of the week. There are constant chicken BBQ’s, bean suppers, chowder festivals, etc. These are major fundraisers for local churches and other groups. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.
Holbrooks Wharf, Cundy’s Harbor, drive to or boat to, at the end of the Cundy’s Harbor Road. There’s also a wharf next door which has a cute gift shop and sells lobsters, Hawkes’ Lobster.
The Dolphin Marina
The Dolphin Marina restaurant has good food, and lots of atmosphere. They have a large dining room with beautiful views. They get very busy. Going at off-hours is a good idea, if possible. They’ll take reservations for a large crowd (at least 8). Visit Website
Erica’s Seafood is an open air eatery across the parking lot from the Dolphin Marina… great lobster and crab rolls, and highly recommend the clam chowder or bisque! Follow the Ash Point Road, right hand turn off of the Harpswell Neck Rd heading toward the cottages… follow all the way to the end of Ash Point Rd. They will sell you live lobsters by the pound weekdays and Saturday. Cook ‘em yourself!… or they will even package and ship them for you.
