Better parking at night, too.Kittery, Maine is found just before you get on the Maine Turnpike. Lots of outlet shopping, strung out along Rte 1.

Sheepscot Pottery is an excellent giftshop. Located on Rte 1 just AFTER the bridge (on the left) in Wiscasset. Nice restaurants and a beautiful drive along this route. From 2:30 – 4:30 on weekdays you will find yourself in heavy rush-hour traffic. Visit Website

The Kellogg Church on 123 is a congregational church, near the old Bailey’s Store, now a museum.

A Baptist church is located on the right, mid-way on Route 123 (Harpswell Neck Rd) as you head to the cottage, just beyond the fire station on Route 123.
